Palmetto Course
A favourite of the locals, the highly popular Palmetto Course offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels throughout the year. Play here and look forward to wide, Bermuda fairways winding through the pine forests, a welcome change from its tougher sister course. Beware of the Inland Waterway and strategically placed hazards that will test even the low handicapper’s shot placing abilities, plus a multitude of bunkers will guarantee golfers sand game experience!
Pine Hills Course
The only course in Myrtle Beach to be designed by award-winning architect Arthur Hills, Pines Hills is a great test. A course that asks for properly planned and placed shots, the skilful use of mounding and strategically placed water hazards make this course a real test to golfers of all levels. The manicured Bermuda fairways are tight in places and as the course measures over 6,600 yards, golfers will find they have to be at the top of their game to score well.
Meadowlands Course
The distinctive Meadowlands Course follows the lay of the land through mature woods bordered by serene meadows, pristine lakes and vast wetlands. The spacious, gently sloping fairways offer a variety of elevation changes that present many challenges as they open onto the large, immaculately manicured greens. Five sets of tees, an open layout, well-defined hazards and exemplary attention to detail create a rewarding round for golfers of all levels. Providing challenging play with pleasant surroundings, Meadowlands Golf Club has earned the title ‘the hidden gem of the Carolinas’ by Golf Digest. Enjoy some great practice facilities and a beautiful clubhouse overlooking the lakes.
Farmstead Links
If you’re looking for a challenging links style course set in beautiful surroundings, then Farmstead Golf Links could be for you. Designed by Willard Byrd on what was once a tobacco farm, the wide links-style fairways gently undulate through the land to create a collection of shot-making opportunities that reward superior play. Adding to the challenge are a number of water hazards and also the wind; be it a stiff or gentle breeze, miss the fairway and you will fall foul of the love grass. A great challenge for golfers of all skill levels, look out for the excellent par-3s.
Tidewater Course
Nestled between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Cherry Grove inlet, Tidewater Golf Club will provide one of the finest playing experiences in Myrtle Beach with lush, perfectly manicured fairways, well-maintained bunkers and exceptional greens. Flowing with the natural contours of the land, the course challenges golfers with a range of elevation changes, carries over water and some tough landing areas off the tee. The most memorable holes have to be the signature par-3 12th over marshland, swiftly followed by the par-5 13th, a challenging hole that casts views over the ocean inlet that runs up the right-hand side of the fairway. Play at Tidewater and a fantastic round of golf awaits you.
